BENCH COLLECTION
The Bench Collection is our clearest statement of place. Sourced from select parcels across O’Rourke Family Estate’s granite benches, these wines are blended to capture the full spectrum of our Lake Country terroir rather than a single block. Centered on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir as the most faithful interpreters of our cool climate, the Bench wines emphasize precision, minerality, and composure, shaped by elevation, lake influence, and meticulous farming. Élevage in our underground caves preserves purity and texture, allowing each vintage to speak with a confident, estate-wide voice.
CAVE COLLECTION
The Cave Collection is our exploratory program, crafted in the still, cool environment of the underground caves to test ideas in pursuit of deeper site expression. These small-lot wines spotlight single clones, micro-parcels, or focused techniques such as whole-cluster ferments, native yeasts, extended lees aging, skin-contact for select whites, and trials in concrete, amphora, or finely tuned French oak. The goal is to study texture, aromatic range, and structure through controlled variation, revealing new dimensions of our Lake Country vineyards.
Where the Bench Collection captures the estate’s broad, harmonized voice, the Cave Collection offers a closer lens. Each release is limited, cellar-driven, and documented for transparency, serving as both a conversation with our terroir and a tasting for guests who value discovery.
GRATITUDE COLLECTION
The Gratitude Collection is the pinnacle of O’Rourke Family Estate. Each year our winemaking team conducts barrel by barrel evaluations to select only the most complete and expressive lots from the best blocks on our Lake Country vineyard benches. These small releases are assembled with absolute restraint, matured in the cool steadiness of our underground caves, and crafted for depth, poise, and long life in the cellar.
