O’Rourke Family Estate farms a dramatic hillside in Lake Country with vineyards laid across granite benches that look over Okanagan Lake. The property spans roughly 300 acres, with about 110 acres under vine, allowing a mosaic of exposures and elevations that suit our cool-climate focus on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and select aromatic whites. The lake’s moderating influence and the benches’ natural drainage shape wines with freshness, precision, and clear site character.

Beneath the vines, the geology is distinctly Lake Country: granite bedrock and glacially influenced soils that transition from well-drained gravel and sand at higher elevations to coarser mid-slope textures and more silty clay lower down. This mix, formed by Ice Age movement across the local rock, underpins our farming approach and the mineral profile in the glass.
