Tasting Notes
Aromas of sweet caramel, powerful and intense red fruit, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and earthy dried rosemary and fresh wet tobacco. On the palate, deep ripe cherry and black currant, chocolate covered cherries, fresh spring mushrooms and black pepper.
Winemaking
Two-block selections from the best fruit, 69% from Block 9 and 31% from Block 2. 100% indigenous yeast and spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Aged in 37.5% new, 37.5% 1-year old and neutral French oak barrels for 11 months in our wine caves.
