As part of the Lakeside Music Series, Bahamas will perform live at the O’Rourke Family Estate Amphitheatre, one of the most breathtaking outdoor concert venues in the Okanagan. Guests can enjoy general admission seating in the vineyard amphitheatre overlooking 100 acres of vines and panoramic views of Okanagan Lake.
Led by acclaimed Canadian songwriter Afie Jurvanen, Bahamas blends soulful songwriting, warm guitar work, and reflective storytelling that has earned international acclaim. A limited number of pre-concert dining reservations will be available at Row 188, while event bars and concessions will offer food and beverages throughout the performance. This special evening pairs world-class live music with the signature vineyard setting and hospitality of O’Rourke Family Estate.
Bahamas is the musical project of Canadian songwriter Afie Jurvanen, whose work blends folk, indie rock, and country influences with thoughtful lyricism and understated guitar work. After years as a respected collaborator with artists such as Feist and Kathleen Edwards, Jurvanen built Bahamas into one of Canada’s most celebrated modern songwriting projects, earning critical acclaim and multiple awards.

Afie Jurvanen, the creative force behind Bahamas, has long been defined by a quiet evolution, moving from the energy of Toronto’s music scene toward a more intentional, grounded life on the coast of Nova Scotia. Following the refined and collaborative success of Bootcut, Jurvanen returned home with a renewed sense of creative momentum, choosing to step away from traditional studio environments and instead embrace a more instinctive, stripped-back approach to songwriting. Working alongside producer Joshua Van Tassel in a modest backyard studio, the process became one of freedom and exploration, where instinct guided each decision and the boundaries of genre dissolved.
The result, My Second Last Album, is a collection that feels both effortless and deeply personal. Built entirely by Jurvanen and Van Tassel, the record moves fluidly across styles, from country-funk and indie rock to soul and pastoral folk, unified by a sense of creative independence. This autonomy allowed each track to unfold naturally, capturing moments of spontaneity and musical curiosity. Purpose built for live performance, the Amphitheatre is designed to deliver an exceptional concert experience from every vantage point. A fully terraced layout ensures clear sightlines throughout, with defined Upper Bowl and Lower Bowl seating tiers that cascade naturally toward the stage. Select VIP areas offer an elevated level of comfort and exclusivity, creating a range of experiences that cater to both intimate and high energy live events. With a maximum capacity of 1,200 guests, the venue strikes a rare balance between scale and connection, allowing audiences to feel both immersed in the performance and grounded in the surrounding landscape.
At its core is a stage built to support touring level production, capable of hosting nationally and internationally recognized artists with full concert infrastructure. Row 188 Pre-Concert dining
As part of your concert experience at O’Rourke Family Estate, a limited number of guests will have the opportunity to reserve a pre-concert three-course dining experience at Row 188. Available exclusively to ticket holders on concert evenings, this offering invites you to begin your night with a refined culinary experience.
Access to Row 188 reservations is granted only after ticket purchase. A private booking link will be included within your order confirmation email. Please note that this dining experience is reserved strictly for concert attendees, and the booking link is not to be shared. Guests without valid concert tickets will not be permitted to access the property or dine at Row 188.
We encourage early reservations, as availability is extremely limited.

Choose your preferred seating section within the Amphitheatre. Options include Upper Bowl, Lower Bowl, and Accessibility Seating. During pre-release periods, guests with access codes will be prompted to enter their code at this stage to unlock ticket availability.

For our concert experiences, we invite guests to dress in “Clubhouse Casual” — a polished, resort-inspired style that is both comfortable and refined.
For Gentlemen:
Collared shirts or tailored polos, lightweight knits, and well-fitted trousers or dress shorts are encouraged. Loafers, clean sneakers, or dress shoes complete the look.
For Ladies:
Summer dresses, elegant separates, or tailored ensembles paired with sandals, flats, or heels are perfect for the setting.
General Guidance:
We kindly ask guests to avoid overly casual attire such as athletic wear, beachwear, flip-flops, or distressed clothing. As the event takes place outdoors, we recommend bringing a light layer for the evening.
Please note that guests must be 14 years of age or older to attend.
