The Estate
O’Rourke Family Estate rises from the granite of Lake Country with contemporary architecture, clean lines, and purposeful sightlines across vineyards and lake. The winery and its underground cave network are built directly into the hillside, using stone, wood, and glass to balance modern design with the raw beauty of the site. Sculptural spaces such as the grand lobbies, crush pad, and amphitheatre create a seamless flow between production, hospitality, and landscape so guests move naturally from vineyard to cellar to table.
The estate’s construction is an intentional, multi-phase project guided by proprietor Dennis O’Rourke. Each stage advances the master plan while preserving the precision and polish visitors experience today. Carved tunnels support natural temperature control for élevage, elevated platforms frame panoramic views, and carefully engineered grades protect farming and guest circulation. The result is a living property that continues to evolve with craftsmanship and clarity of vision, setting a new benchmark for winery architecture in Canada.
